1st Annual Gainesville Care 5K

As of October 27th, we have 235 registered participants! The weather looks to be great -- Join us!  Registration is now closed however walk-up registrations are welcome. (Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a t-shirt; T-shirts for run day registrations are available while they last).

A Family "Fun"- raiser Benefitting Gainesville Care Center, Saturday,  October 29, 2011 at Lakeview Academy (796 Lakeview Drive, 30501), Rain or Shine

• 1 Mile Run Run / Walk at 5K Run / Walk at 11:30 a.m.
• 5K Run / Walk at 12 Noon (rain or shine)
• Toddler Dash for children 4 years old or younger at 12:05 p.m. NO COST but must register to get a t-shirt. 
• Affiliated with Run & See Georgia, active.com, Classic Race Services
• On race day, registration begins at 10:30 a.m. (T-shirts available while supplies last).
• Strollers Welcomed (No pets please)

AWARDS: Hand-crafted pottery awards by Crocker Folk Pottery. Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, Grand Masters Male/Female, and three deep awards in 15 age categories. The race is part of the 2011 Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series. REGISTRATION:  On race day Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. 

• $20 prior through October 22; $25 Sunday, October 23 through race day.
• $60 for family of four (limited to four family members). One entry per person.
• ALL REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
• CAN'T BE THERE? Register as a PHANTOM RUNNER, includes a t-shirt.

T-SHIRTS guaranteed to preregistered participants; on race day while supplies last. Water stations will be set up on the course and at the finish.

COURSE: Race will begin and end at Lakeview Academy.

• 11:30 a.m. - 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk - indoor facilities provided in case of inclement weather. 
• 12 Noon - 5K Run/Walk  (Rain or Shine). See 5K Race Route below.
• 12:05 p.m. - Toddler Dash for children 4 years old or younger. NO COST but must register to get a t-shirt.
